Susan Marie (Bromund) MacDonald, 65, of Daggett, Mi., passed away Sunday July 16, 2017 at home.
Born Jan. 30, 1952 in Menominee, Mi., to the late David and Mary (Kolunda) Bromund, she graduated from Menominee High School in 1970 and married Russell MacDonald on May 24, 1975 in Menominee.
She enjoyed traveling, bird watching, gardening, taking care of her home and camping, but mostly loved her flowers, taking pictures of her family on vacation and visiting the ocean. Her family meant everything to her and she cherished time spent together.
Survivors include her husband, Russ of Daggett; a daughter, Marie MacDonald and a son, Douglas MacDonald, both of Powers, Mi.; a sister, Nancy Bromund of Chicago, Ill.; two brothers, David Bromund of Menominee and Paul (Valorie) Bromund of Chicago; sisters-in-law, Donna (Clyde) Konkel, Debbie (Dennis) Paul and Marie Bird and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Matthew; a brother, Mark Bromund and brothers-in-law, Dale Bird and Ron MacDonald.
Family will receive friends at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home in Stephenson on Thursday, July 20 from 4 p.m. until time of a funeral service at 7 p.m., with Pastor Ben Fox officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee on Friday, July 21 at 11 a.m.
