Issue Date: July 19, 2017
Louise A.(Raygo) LeRoy, 84, passed away Monday, July 10, 2017 with family by her side.
Born March 21, 1933 in New Lisbon, to the late Ronald and Elizabeth (Murphy) Raygo, she grew up in Marinette and graduated from Marinette High School in 1951. She was married to Lawrence (Larry) Fronsee until his death. She worked at many restaurants and supper clubs and each job had stories and good memories.
Her happiest times was when she married Darryl A. LeRoy in 1995 and gained the large family that she always dreamed of, taking five children into her life. The term "step children" was not allowed and referred to them as the children. She was also proud of his grandchildren, whom she referred to as her "grannies".
She quickly adjusted to helping with the day to day activities running LeRoy's Cleaners. After retirement when she became "Mrs. Mayor" as her husband was Marinette Mayor, new adventures, travel and wonderful friendships came about. She will be remembered as a kind soul and the love she had for her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Pam (Frank) Mezzano; two grandchildren; her husbands' four children, Shawn LeRoy, Cindy (Mike) Kranz, Tim (Kathy) LeRoy and Zahnel (Chip) Maxey; 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild, whom she considered as her own; a sister, Pearl Pichette, who was her best friend; a sister-in-law, Connie Raygo and nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Lawrence and Darryl; a daughter, Tina Fronsee; a granddaughter, Heather Mezzano; a brother, Ronald (Chum) Raygo; a brother-in-law, Frank Pichette; her husbands' daughter, Dorothy; two nephews, David and Dickie Pichette and a niece, Cindy Raygo.
Visitation will be held at Thielen Funeral Home in Marinette on Friday, July 21 from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Deacon Steve Gretzinger will officiate with burial in Forest Home Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
