Richard Angus, 61, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017 surrounded by family, after spending the day fishing, which, he loved most.
Born Aug. 22, 1955 in Oconto Falls, to William and Jean Angus, he was known for being a jokester, loved connecting with people and was an avid story teller!
He was a farmer, owned the Wild Wild West bar, was a semi-truck owner-operator and in recent years, provided companionship to adults who suffered from dementia and Alzheimer's. He spent much time each week talking with his children, family and best friend and enjoyed fishing, hunting and nature.
He is survived by three children, Jessica (Shaba) Angus of Chicago, Ill., Rebecca Angus of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and Richard Angus of Coleman; two grandchildren; a sister, Lori (Tim) Willett of Suamico; three brothers Bill Angus of Coleman and Mike Angus and Jim (Sherilyn) Angus, both of Oconto Falls and his parents, William and Jean Angus of Oconto Falls.
A Celebration of Life was held on Sunday, July 16 at the home of his son Richard in Coleman. The family greeted friends and family from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a program at 4 p.m.
