THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
From our readers
On April 24th, my wife and I marked our 70th wedding anniversary with a family celebration at the home of our youngest son in Beecher.
Family stats were given which I thought they were interesting.
We have five sons and three daughters, 24 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren with more on the way, and two great-great grandchildren.
We have had 70 years of life together, 840 months of love, 3,650 weeks of a great life, 25,550 days of patience, 613,200 hours of love and a whole lifetime of precious memories.
A gracious God and Heavenly Father has allowed this to happen to two simple kids who were told it won't last six months.

Re: Kudos - Wellness Center, Jason Koenigs
In April 2016, my life changed. Because of a complication during surgery, the result for me was my inability to walk.
Thanks to Jason Koenigs at the Wellness Center in Marinette, I have made a comeback! Jason was my primary physical therapist, and close to the end of my therapy, Kris Tebo assisted in aqua therapy.
Physical therapy is not easy. It takes more energy and fortitude than I ever imagined. I worked with Jason for seven months, three times a week. We laughed, and I cried. Through it all, Jason was my greatest cheerleader. He is enthusiastic, compassionate, positive and caring. He was a teacher as well as a physical therapist. Jason is a fighter for success, and he extended that fight to me. Was it difficult? Oh, yes!!! It has been the most difficult thing I have ever done. And, now, 15 months later, I am walking on my own!!!
There are no words to express my gratitude to Jason and all the staff at the Wellness Center. Keep on, keepin' on, for you are the best!!
