THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Clarence Rusch, 78, of Brown Deer, formerly of Gillett, passed away Tuesday, July 18.
Born Aug. 19, 1938, to Helmuth and Genevive (Lambrecht) Rusch in the Town of Gillett, he lived on the family dairy farm until retirement. He then moved to Milwaukee and lived there until his passing.
He was confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the Town of Gillett and later attended St. John's Lutheran in Gillett where he played dartball. He enjoyed auctions and antiquing.
He is survived by a brother, Louis (the late Martha); a nephew James; two nieces, Holly and Catrina and their families and many relatives and friends.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria.
Friends and relatives may call at Legacy Funeral Chapels, 108 East Main Street, Gillett on Friday, July 28 from 1 p.m. until time of a funeral service at 2 p.m. Burial will take place at Wanderer's Rest Cemetery in Gillett immediately following the service.
