THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE

Firefighters from four areas departments battled a stubborn house fire at 318 Terrace Ave. in the City of Marinette Friday, July 21. The call was received by the Marinette Fire Department at approximately 8 a.m. Upon arrivals firefighters found smoke coming from the rear of the home. The fire was quickly knocked down but required substantial overhaul. No Injuries were reported. Units responding were City of Menominee Fire Department, along with the City of Peshtigo and Town of Peshtigo Fire Departments. Marinette Fire Chief Jay Heckel called for a MABAS box alarm which brought in the additional units. Paramedics from Bay Area Medical and personnel from The Emergency Rescue Squad also responded.Top Photo-Shows smoke pouring from the rear of the home.
