Carol Jean (Marquardt) Armstrong, 66, Crivitz, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 26, 2017.
She was born June 28, 1951, in Green Bay to Kenneth and Marlene (LaTour) Marquardt. Carol graduated from Green Bay East High School in 1969. She began a career as an administrative assistant with American Can, which later became known as James River from where she retired.
On February 11, 1995, Carol married Thomas Armstrong. The two owned and operated Crossroads Bar & Campground for many years. She enjoyed the Northwoods, listening to the sounds of the birds and watching the wildlife.
Carol was a true football fan who enjoyed cheering on her Packers. Above all, she loved time spent with family, especially her precious grandchildren.
Carol is survived by her husband, Tom Armstrong; a daughter and son-in-law, Erin "Mackenzie" and Chad Glodowski; two stepchildren, Amy (Jaison) Trost and Andrew (special friend Sue) Armstrong; her grandchildren, Izak and Noah Glodowski and Brandon and Nicole Trost; her parents, Kenneth and Marlene Marquardt; brothers and sisters, John (Twila) Marquardt, Debra (Michael) Schampers, Kenneth (Patricia) Marquardt and Vicki (David) Solper; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews and the many friends she made throughout the years.
Visitation was held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 31 at Proko Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., Green Bay. Funeral Services were held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 31 at the funeral home.
