Donna Rae (Johnson) Ihander, 68, of Wallace, Mi., passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 at Rennes Health Care Center-East.
Born July 5, 1949 in Daggett, Mi., to the late Albert and Lillian (Peterson) Johnson, she married Raymond Ihander on April 20, 1966 in Daggett, Mi. She loved working at Mid County Senior Center for 28 years as a bus driver and secretary.
She enjoyed playing cards, reading, trips to the casino, her dog, watching NASCAR, especially Jimmy Johnson and the Green Bay Packers, but mostly time with family and friends. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond; four sons, Greg, Mark (Dottie), Kevin and Todd; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and three sisters, Gladys Hornung, Cindy (George) Barrette and Sally (Fred) Filibeck.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Janet Hintz and Bette Howarth.
Family will receive friends at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Daggett on Friday, Aug. 4, 2017 from 3 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 5 p.m. Rev. Paul Micheel will officiate with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery in Oakwood. Anderson Diehm Funeral Home of Stephenson is assisting the family with arrangements. A memorial fund has been established and expressions of sympathy can be directed to Raymond Ihander.
