Thomas P. Strom
Thomas P. Strom, 79, of Crivitz, formerly of Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017 at an area hospital.
Born Aug. 24, 1937 in Sparta, to Lloyd and Luella (Haskins) Strom, he served in the United States Navy for over 13 years. On Sept. 3, 1966, he married Connie Teteak at St. Charles Catholic Church in Lena. He worked as a mechanical designer for many years until retiring to the Crivitz area in 2000.
A longtime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Crivitz, he was a lifetime member of the Vietnam Veterans Association. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, cards and was an avid Brewer and Packer fan, but mostly loved time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; two sons, Bill (Andrea Konop) and Cory (Kim Konop); seven grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Audrey Teteak and Annette Tonn; a brother-in-law, Fred Frater and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Grace Elizabeth; his in-laws, William and Elva Teteak; four siblings, Virginia, Patricia, John and Jeannette; three brothers-in-law, Ray Neta, Bill Teteak and Mike Tonn; a sister-in-law, Mavis Neta and two nieces, Janice and Jackie.
Friends called at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Lena on Saturday, Aug. 5 from 9 a.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with Rev. Nonita Barra officiating. Burial with Military Honors immediately followed in St. Charles Cemetery in Lena. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Lena assisted the family with arrangements.
