Robert F. Kohlbeck
Robert "Bob" F. Kohlbeck, 79, of Peshtigo, formerly of Menominee, MI., passed away Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017 at Rennes Health Care Center-East IN Peshtigo.
Born April 27, 1938 in Iron Mountain, MI., to the late Robert J. and Nancy (Michelson) Kohlbeck, he earned a degree at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Mi. and Jones Business College in Orlando, Fla. He married Judy Bertrand on Sept. 13, 1986 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Menominee.
Recognized for his dedication to the family business, Robert J. Kohlbeck and Son Accounting for 59 years, most important was his love of family and lifelong friends. He was a good story teller, collected cars and trucks with his favorite being his 1966 Red Cadillac convertible and he loved sports.
Surviving are his wife Judy; two daughters, Nancy A. (David) Berg and Lori (Todd) Klein, both of Florida; a step-son, Craig (Karmon) Caylor, Crivitz; six grandchildren; a great-grandson and a brother, David Kohlbeck, Marinette.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 613 11th Ave., Menominee on Thursday, Aug. 17 from 3 p.m. until time of the Memorial Service at 4 p.m. Pastor Paul Cole will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Crivitz is assisting the family with arrangements.
