Elizabeth "Liz" Rose Noasconi, 56, of Ingalls, Mi., passed away Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017 at home with family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born July 2, 1961 in Wheaton, Ill., to the late James and Rose (Major) Nelson, she married Steven Noasconi on June 20, 1986 at St. Stephens Lutheran Church in Stephenson, Mi. She worked at Emerson Electric for 22 years and then at Roubal Care and Rehab Center as an LPN.
A member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church in Stephenson, she loved being outdoors, riding horses, trips to Wisconsin Dells and Minnesota and going to the casino with her friends, but mostly time with family and grandchildren brought her the most joy.
She is survived by her husband, Steven of Ingalls; a daughter, Ashley (Nick Johnson) Noasconi of Menominee, Mi.; two sons, Steven (Sarah) of Owatonna, Mn. and Ryan (Kylee Sundstrom) Noasconi of Ingalls; a grandson; four granddaughters; two brothers, John and Brad Nelson; her mother-in-law, LaVerne Noasconi; three sisters-in-law, Doreen (Roger) Grinsteiner, Jane Kartes and Diane (Tucker) Rhodes and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Kim Nelson.
Visitation will be held at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home in Stephenson on Wednesday, Aug. 16 from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. at St. Stephens Lutheran Church in Stephenson with Pastor Gene Wickman officiating. Burial will be in Mellen Township Cemetery.
