Coleman School Board To Meet on Aug. 28th
Coleman"The regular monthly meeting of the Coleman School Board will be held Monday, Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. at the Board Room.
The agenda includes President's welcome/meeting called to order, roll call, consent items of agenda, minutes and vouchers. District Spotlight will have Packer tickets for youth football followed by questions from the public.
Reports will be given by Principal Yvette Marshall on Elementary/MS year start, open house, August inservice days, staff professional development. High School Principal Doug Polomis will report on R-Angels School supply distribution, meeting w/Neola regarding policy changes, summer school recap, and professional development opportunities for Board members.
Among discussion items will be George Hansen Memorial Scholarship, Personnel Committee on professional, support and coaches handbooks, Building and Grounds, Elementary student handbook changes as well as MS/HS student handbook changes.
Matters requiring action are review/approve resignation of Jerry Nasgovitz, Custodian II, Joy Rohde, Elem/MS Administrative Assistant, Heather Patz, Aide, Jodi Graetz, Data Entry Specialist and Nikki Kaiser, Food Service.
Also contract of Brenda Raught, Special Education teacher, transfers of Jodi Karas from Reading Center Aide to Elem/MS Administrative Assistant, and Stacee Seefeldt from Kitchen Assistant to Aide, and Anita Kaus from Kitchen Assistant to cook. Hiring are of Denise Madison, Angela Mauritz for Special Education Aide, Jill King, Aide, Andrew Kaufman as JV Football Coach, and Lindsay Allen as Senior Class Officer, approve student handbooks.
Support staff, professional staff and coaches/advisor handbooks will be reviewed for approval. Bid for snow plowing/ice removal will be taken and other district donations, hirings and resignations.
The Building and Grounds committee will meet at 6 p.m. to discuss restroom/storage facility drawing, maintenance of softball/baseball fields and energy efficiency project.
