Warren E. Carlson, 74, of Niagara, passed away Friday, Aug. 11, 2017.
Born Aug. 26, 1942 in Iron Mountain, Mi., to the late Ellsworth and Viola (Miller) Carlson he was a longtime resident there and worked for Timber Products as a truck driver until retirement.
He enjoyed hunting camp, four wheeling, helped those in need, was a wonderful grandfather and loved taking care of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by a son, Brian (Sandi) Carlson of Niagara; two daughters, Brenda (Peter) Swanson of Niagara and Becky (Tim) Inglese of Greenville; a brother, Donald "Butch" (Eva) Carlson of Kingsford; six sisters, Donna (Carl) Gunther of Louisiana, Joanne (friend, Gary) Aman of Kingsford, Sue (Fran) Broeders of Hardwood, Mi. and Alice (Dave) Querio and Lisa Carlson, both of Iron Mountain; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Roxanne Geyer.
Visitation was held at Erickson Rochon and Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain on Tuesday, Aug. 15 from 1 p.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 2:30 p.m., officiated by Rev. Karl Utzat. A memorial was established in his memory.
