Mark suffered from depression, and even though he had many family members and friends that loved him dearly, they could not erase the sadness inside. He took his own life after watching the sunrise one last time. Many people tried to save him, and in the end we did not fail, but instead gave him a few more extra years. Honor him by remembering to love deeply, have faith in others, lend a hand to those who everyone else walks past. Remember that kind words mean little with no action; but a single word said out of anger can affect someone forever. We as a family refuse to cover up his death, but instead wish to make it known, if only to save one life. Suicide is not the easy way out, but a long and painful journey. But with help from the entire community that road can curve a different, warmer path.
