William Andrew Tisler, 86, of Crivitz passed away Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017.
Born June 24, 1931, to the late William and Annabel Tisler, he graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc in 1949. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and then received a bachelor degree from UW-Oshkosh in 1958. He married the love of his life, Nancy, whom he met while attending college.
He enjoyed bowling, golfing, RC air planes and slot car racing, but mostly the outdoors and his dogs, Ginger and Charlie.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Nancy; two children Tony and Jackie Tisler and two brothers, Bob (Karen) and Jim (Linda) Tisler.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ginnie Rasmussen.
The family greeted relatives and friends at Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home in Crivitz on Monday, Aug. 28 from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Fr. Lawrence Smith officiated with burial in St. Casimir Cemetery in Newton.
