Rose Mary (Schultz) Weissgerber, 80, formerly of Menominee, Mi., passed away Tuesday evening, Aug. 29, 2017 at Bay Area Medical Center, surrounded by family.
Born Sept. 29, 1936 in Chicago, Ill., to Casimer and Lottie Ann Schultz, Sr., she spent most of her life in the Twin City area. She married Lawrence Weissgerber on Feb. 14, 1978 and lived in Menominee for many years. He preceded her in death on Nov. 5, 2001.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol Botkin of Marinette and Marie (Josephine) Brzezinski of Menominee; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Diana (Carl) Hoppe, Helen Schultz and Arlene Wolf, all of Marinette and Lucille McCoy of Oak Lawn, Ill.; five brothers, Casimer, Jr., Richard, Edward, Jerry and John Schultz and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret and Mary Ann and a son-in-law, Berchel Botkin.
Friends may call at Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home in Marinette on Friday, Sept. 8 from 4 p.m. until time of a Parish Vigil Service at 7 p.m Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Saturday, Sept. 9 from 10 a.m. until time of the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Parish-Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Taylor St. Rev. Celestine Byekwaso will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee.
