Joyce Regina (Fox) Lund, 90, of Columbus (Madison), passed away Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017 at home after an extended battle with Alzheimers.
Born Aug. 3, 1927 to Minor and Ida (Augustine) Fox in Marinette, she graduated from Menominee High School in 1945 and the School of Cosmetology in Green Bay. She worked as a secretary which she enjoyed, was a PBX operator, an insurance underwriter, an office manager in Minneapolis, Mn. and for 10 years was office manager in her husband's optometric practice in Columbus.
She married Willard E. Lund on May 1, 1954 in Peshtigo and their marriage extended over 63 years. They moved to Madison in 2003. She enjoyed playing bridge, camping, golfing and traveling including to Mexico several times, south America (Columbia), Spain, Italy and western United States.
She is survived by her husband, Willard; a daughter, Alison; a sister, Judy of Oshkosh; a niece and many nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David and two brothers, Howard and Robert, all of Wallace, Mi.
Per her request, funeral arrangements were private. Memorials can be made to the Alzheimers and Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin.
