Lillie Marie Rudolph, 89, of Marinette, passed away Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017 at Bay Area Medical Center.
Born Aug. 22, 1928 in Escanaba, Mi., to Nelson and Celina (King) Sorault, she grew up in Escanaba and moved to Marinette as a young adult where she spent the rest of her life. She married Richard Herman Rudolph in Marinette on Sept. 25, 1948 and worked in the circulation department at Marinette Eagle Herald for 15 years.
She enjoyed gardening, bingo, loved spending time with family, especially around the holidays, was loved by everyone and was a mother to all. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her children, Allan Rudolph, Terry (Brenda) Rudolph, Kim (Ruth) Rudolph, Pam Rudolph and Scott Rudolph; adopted daughter, Mary Edelbeck; three grandchildren; a great-grandson and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; two brothers, John Sorault and Arthur Sorault and a twin sister, Lillian Anderson.
Friends may call at Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home in Marinette on Wednesday, Sept. 20 from 4 p.m. until time of funeral services at 6 p.m. with Rev. Jon Tesch officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.
