Susan Van Roy
Susan (Warner) Van Roy, 59, Oconto Falls, passed away suddenly Monday morning, Sept. 18, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital ICU.
Born Aug. 5, 1958 in Oconto Falls, to Bill and Marian (Meyer) Warner, she attended Oconto Falls schools and graduated from Oconto Falls High School in 1977. On April 18, 1992, she married Gary Van Roy at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Suring.
She worked at Meunier True Value in Gillett and at Sam's Club in Green Bay for the past 16 years. She enjoyed flower gardening and Christmas was her favorite time of the year.
Survivors include her husband, Gary, Oconto Falls; two children, David (Angela) Renel, Minnesota and Alica (Josh LaBrosse) Renel, Oconto Falls; a step-son, Gary "Little Gary" Van Roy, Washington; four grandchildren; five siblings, Danni (Mike) VanHaren and Becky (Glen) Warner, both of Oconto Falls, Cindy Falash, Stiles, Bill (Mary) Warner, Nekoosa and Bob (Sarah) Warner, Luxemburg; her grandmother, Anne Renel, Oconto Falls; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lee (Nano) Van Roy, Green Bay, Rita (John) Frisque, Town of Scott, Nancy Van Roy, DePere and Kevin (Maureen) Van Roy, South Chase; many nieces; nephews; friends and coworkers.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Donald Falash and Dennis Van Roy and her in-laws, Leo and Alice Van Roy.
Visitation with the urn present will be held at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls on Saturday, Sept. 23 from 11 a.m. until time of the Memorial Services at 3 p.m., with Pastor Gary Olson officiating.
