Werner Schulz, 87 of Crivitz, passed away Monday, Oct. 2, 2017.
Born Dec. 2, 1929 in East Prussia, Germany, to the late Karl and Klara Schulz, he immigrated to Norfolk, Ne. with his family in 1950 and worked as a Stone Mason. He married Marilyn Deibler and she preceded him in death in May of 1990. They had three children and lived in Milwaukee for 46 years.
He retired to Crivitz, where he married his second wife Barbra, who preceded him in death in October of 2012. He loved the outdoors and being around friends.
He is survived by his three daughters, Holly (Karl-Heinz) Herbertz, Carrie Roberts and Julie (Matt) Kollenbroich; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a sister, Gerde Schulz; two nieces and a nephew.
Family greeted relatives and friends at Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home in Crivitz on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 3 p.m., with Rev Nick Johannes officiating. Burial took place in Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin on Monday noon, Oct. 9.
