Donald J. Desotell, 83, of Marinette, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017 at the Luther Home.
Born May 20, 1934, to the late Clifford and Beatrice (Tebo) Desotell in Menominee, Mi., he was a kind man and loved being with family and people. An avid Packer and Brewers fan, he also enjoyed cards, bingo and coloring.
He is survived by a sister, Mary (Frank) Lozier of Green Bay; two sisters-in-law, Theresa and Arletta Desotell; 11 nieces and nephews, Michael Krakau, Steven Krakau, Michael Desotell, Beatrice Desotell, Edward Desotell, Kay Brey and Kim Burkel; 15 great-nieces and nephews and seven great-great-nieces and nephews with one on the way.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Bill, Clifford "Lyle," Richard and Ron Desotell; a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce (Gerald) Krakau and a great-great-nephew, Carl Desotell.
Visitation will be held at Cadieu Thielen Funeral Home in Menominee on Thursday, Oct. 12 from 9 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. with niece, Kim Burkel leading the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee.
