Arthur "Art" H. Zeitler, 57, of Pound, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017.
Born July 20, 1960, to Ellsworth and LaVerne (Meyers) Zeitler, he graduated from Coleman High School in 1979 and served in the United States Navy for four years. He currently was working for Fitesa of Green Bay.
A hardworking man, he loved helping others, was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and time with friends at the cabin.
Surviving are three daughters, April (Andrew) Pipping, Amber (Fernando) Ortega and Alyssa Zeitler; three grandchildren; his mother and step-father, LaVerne and Robert Rouse; significant other, Nancy Hansen; mother of his children, Brenda Zeitler; 12 brothers and sisters, Steve (Darlene) Zeitler, Sue (Clarence) Mrowicki, James (RaeAnn) Rouse, Roger (Nancy) Zeitler, Joan Zeitler, Cathy (Mike) Kaster, Russell (Dawn) Zeitler, Fran Rouse, Linda (Bob) Swenty, Barb (Mark) Champagne, Scott (Tracie) Rouse and George (Jeanne) Zeitler and many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ellsworth.
The family greeted relatives and friends at St. Matthew's Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver on Tuesday, Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Christopher Johns officiating. Military Rites were given at the Church by the Coleman American Legion. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
