Margaret A. (Brazeau) Wilde, 88, former longtime Oconto resident, passed away Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017.
Born Aug. 19, 1929 in Lena, to Elmer and Alice Brazeau, she married Edward "Ed" Wilde on Nov. 23, 1950 at the former St. Charles Catholic Church in Lena. They celebrated 63 years together until his passing on Jan. 22, 2013 and were active members of Holy Trinity Parish for many years.
She enjoyed reading, word puzzles and was known as an excellent seamstress. She loved all animals, but her greatest joy was time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Marie (Mike) Coopman, Roseann (Darryl) Retrum and Barbara (Daniel) Rudolph; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ed.
Friends called at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Oconto on Wednesday, Nov. 8 from 9:30 a.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Rev. Robert "Bob" Karuhn officiated with burial will in Oconto Catholic Cemetery.
Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Oconto assisted the family with arrangements. A memorial fund was established in her name.
