THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
From our readers
Issue Date: November 15, 2017
The fourth grade at Aviston Elementary, located in southern Illinois, is learning about the United States and the different environments, climates, resources, and highlights found in each region. The kids in the class think it would be fun to receive postcards, souvenirs, resources, or any information about our great country from each of the 50 states.
We hope that people who read this letter will be interested in mailing our class items pertaining to their state. Send to: 4th Grade @ Aviston Elementary, 350 South Hull Street, Aviston, IL 62216.
A sincere thank you to anyone who is able to contribute. We appreciate the excitement you will add to our learning experience.
Letter to Editor:
Mark Education Week
Goodman-Armstrong Creek Board of Education along with District Administrator Allison Space, thank the school staff. We welcome students of all backgrounds, abilities and incomes, and each of us plays a role in ensuring our schools are open to all. This month, during American Education Week, let us as a rural community celebrate the wonderful role we all play in educating our children. We thank our bus drivers, food service staff, support staff, office staff, custodial staff, and teaching staff. We recognize the extra you do and thank you for all the hard work.
