David A. Salfai, 62, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017 at home.
Born Jan. 15, 1955 in Menominee, to the late John and Violet (Mielke) Salfai, he graduated from Menominee High School in 1973 and enlisted in the United States Navy, serving for three years.
He worked at Lloyd Manufacturing, Richardson Millwork and most recently Christiansen Machinery. He enjoyed time at camp, the outdoors, hunting, bonfires and was an avid Packer fan.
He is survived by a son, Justin (Felicia) of Wallace; two brothers, Jacob and Ron "RJ", both of Menominee; three sisters, Linda (Bill) Caley of Stephenson, Rose (Brian) Tachick of Hoover, Al. and Angie Schmidt of Peshtigo and two grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John and a niece, Rebecka Salfai.
Private family services will be held. Cadieu Thielen Funeral Home of Menominee is assisting the family.
