James L. "Bogie" Bogusz, 73, passed away Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017 at his home.
Born Nov. 12, 1943, to the late Stanley and Florence (Walen) Bogusz, he graduated from Gillett High School and married Darlene Puzen on May 27, 1967 at Assumption B.V.M. Church in Pulaski. He worked at Gabe's Construction for several years and in 1985 began working for Wisconsin Public Service in the gas department until retiring
A member of Assumption B.V.M. Parish, he enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles, but mostly time spent outdoors working in the yard with his wife. In retirement, he loved taking drives with his wife whom preceded him in death on Aug. 9, 2017.
Survivors include a sister, Beverly "Bev" (Bob) Johnson; a brother-in-law, Larry Puzen; a sister-in-law, Maryann Puzen; a niece, Michelle (Craig) Simonson; two nephews, Shawn (Carrie) Puzen and Brian (Priscilla) Schultz and Godchildren, John Ferfecki and David Wilson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene; his step-father, Herbie Bohm; a brother, Randolph Bogusz and a niece, Rebekah Puzen.
Friends called at Assumption B.V.M. Church in Pulaski on Wednesday, Nov. 15 from 10 a.m. until time of the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Fr. James Esser O.F.M. presided followed by burial in the Parish Cemetery.
