William R. VandenBloomer, 61, of Mountain, passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017 after a lengthy illness.
Born July 10, 1956, to the late Elmer and Donna (Smith) VandenBloomer, He was raised in Oneida and married Brenda Neshek on March 31, 1978 in Black Creek. For many years, he was self-employed. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda; three daughters, Billie Jo, Lisa (Clyde) and Laura; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; three brothers, Butch, Jeff (Tina) and Mike; seven sisters, Bonnie, Colleen, Tina (Jim), Vickie, Lynn, LuAnn nd Becky (Bill); two brothers-in-law, Steve Neshek and Bruce (Bonnie) Neshek and many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws, Viola and Harold; a sister, Kim and a brother-in-law, Duane Krueger.
Visitation will be held at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring on Saturday, Nov. 25 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at noon. Pastor Bill Krauss will officiate followed by interment in Mountain Cemetery.
