Suzanne (Christensen) Hansen, 72, of Oconto, passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017 at her home, surrounded by family.
Born Oct. 12, 1945 in Waukesha, to the late John "Gordy" and Irene Christensen, she married Russell Hansen on Sept. 4, 1965 and worked as a nurses aid at Oconto Memorial Hospital for many years.
A member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Oconto, she was a lifelong caregiver, first to her children, but also cared for many family members in their final days.
She is survived by her husband, Russell Hansen, Oconto; a daughter, Brenda (Timothy) Koller, Schofield; two sons, Greg (Lori) Hansen, Peshtigo and Scott (Cynthia) Hansen, DePere; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Martin Christensen and two granddaughters, Hope and Patience Hansen.
The family received relatives and friends at Gallagher Funeral Home in Oconto on Wednesday, Nov. 22 from 9 a.m. until time of the Memorial Services at 11 a.m, with Rev. Bob Karuhn officiating.
