THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Issue Date: November 22, 2017
Amina Gerhart Hambrick was born on April 13, 2016 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Monika Gerhart-Hambrick and Mark Hambrick. Amina was a strong-willed, curious little girl who loved and played wholeheartedly. For all who knew her, and especially for her parents and family, she was the light of their lives. She was adored by Uschi, her playmate and family dog.
For Amina, life was an exploration. She enjoyed watching Mardi Gras parades and climbing stairs with equal vigor and determination. She was outgoing and engaging and chatted up people she met during her walks along the water in Baton Rouge or on the levee in the Bywater with her Mama. Mark and his little lady enjoyed reading together, laughing, and gabbing with each other. Amina spent many of her days in the loving care of her Omi Lorraine and enjoyed frequent visits from her Nana Dollie.
Amina brought immense joy to this world, especially to her parents, Monika and Mark; her grandparents, Lorraine Gerhart, formerly of Crivitz and Dollie Hambrick; her uncles, Kevin (Michel) Hambrick and Albert R. G. Hambrick; her great aunts and uncles, especially Dottie (Jim) Erdmann, Beverly Ellingson, Jeanne Pfeiffer, Rosemarie Falkenstein and Wilfred (Margit) Gerhart; her cousins and extended family and her many honorary aunties and uncles.
Amina was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Adolph Gerhart and Albert E. Hambrick.
A Memorial Mass and luncheon to follow will be held Saturday, December 9th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 808 Henrietta Ave., Crivitz, WI.
