Phyllis Eva (Jashinsky) Gretzon, 95, of Coleman passed away Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017 with family by her side at Rennes Health Center-West in Peshtigo.
Born Oct. 22, 1922, to the late Fred and Minnie (Kostreva) Jashinsky, she married Walter Gretzon on July 7, 1937 in the Town of Bagley.
She loved fishing, crocheting and cooking, was a caring, loving wife and mother to 14 children and a lifelong member of Pound Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are 12 children, Elsie Gamerdinger, Barbara Fisher, Roger (Nancy) Gretzon, Ronald (Carol) Gretzon, Donna (Jonathon) Kovnesky, Floyd (Jeannine) Gretzon, Audrey (Randall) Hill, Fred (Sue) Gretzon, Doris (Tom) Gretzon, Dale Gretzon, Larry (Kelly) Gretzon and Melody Handly; 45 grandchildren; 157 great-grandchildren; 50 great-great-grandchildren; 35 great-great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Geraldine Field; a daughter-in-law, Danita Gretzon and a son-in-law, Raymond Gorman.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; a daughter, Beverly Gorman and a son, Arvid Gretzon.
Family greeted relatives and friends at Pound Hillside Assembly of God Church North, County Q, Pound on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Pastor Paul Carlson and Pastor Howard Kruzie officiated with burial in First Baptist Cemetery in Pound.
