Crivitz Village Board Approves Upgrades

Crivitz"During the Nov. 21st meeting of the Crivitz Village Board, approval was given to accept the proposal from Alan Harvey of Community Code Service to update the zoning code at a cost not to exceed $1,895 plus mileage and related printing. In addition, the Board also passed a motion to retain 40% of grave revenue in the general fund for annual cemetery expenses and deposit the remainder in the perpetual care savings fund.
Live Fire Training was approved for the Fire Department at NWTC as well as attendance to the Annual Fire Inspectors Conference.
The Village Board approved the purchase of a pump impeller and related supplies for Lift Station #1 from Energenecs at a cost not to exceed $2,371.53. A quote from Richland Enterprises for the amount of $1,610 was approved for fabrication of rail and ladder extensions for the pump lift system at lift station #1. The Wastewater Treatment Facility will receive a new rubber hose which will replace the old galvanized pipe which is currently in place. USA Bluebook quote was approved for the replacement at a cost not to exceed $3,000.
