Robert Ernest George Brown, 78, of Riverside, Ca., formerly of Menominee, Mi., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017.
Born in Cloquet, Mn., to Milton Carl and Agnes Hanson Brown, he grew up in Menominee and spent his adult years in Chicago, Southern California and Kansas City before retiring in Riverside.
He enjoyed movies, puzzles, playing and watching sports, attending church and reading, but was most happy surrounded by family. He was always there to help his children and grandchildren. A kind, loving person, he was a friend to all.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty; three sons, Christian (Heather) Brown, Garrick (Stacie) Brown and Elliott (Alyssa) Brown and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Timothy.
Services will be held at Corona Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 2550 S Main St., Corona, Ca., on Sunday, Dec. 10 at 1 p.m., performed by Pastor Rick Johnson of Amazing Grace Lutheran Church. The family will host a reception after the service and all are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Menominee Class of 1957 Scholarship Fund held at the M&M Area Community Foundation, M&MACF, 1110 10th Ave., Ste. L1, Menominee, MI 49858.
