Norman "Jim" Jensen, 89, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017.
Born Dec. 5, 1927 in the Village of Wausaukee, to Russell and Dorothy (Cole) Jensen, he served in the United States Army during the Korean War. On Aug. 28, 1954, he married Carol Northway in Dodge Center, Mn.
He worked for the State Highway Commission and enjoyed hunting, fishing and time at the cottage on Hilbert Lake.
He is survived by two children, Scott (Christine) Jensen and Leanne (Kelly) Mc Corison; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol; an infant son, Randy Jensen; a brother, Lyman Jensen and a sister, Agnes Cross.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 1 at Bethany United Methodist Church, 1110 Echo Lane, Green Bay from 4 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 6 p.m., with Rev. Robb McClintock officiating. A memorial fund has been established in his name. Lyndahl Funeral Home of Green Bay is assisting the family with arrangements.
