Arlene A. (Berger) Motto, 87, of Stephenson, Mi., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017 at home.
Born May 13, 1930, to the late Theodore and Alice (Wendricks) Berger, she married Stewart Motto on Sept. 15, 1948 at St. Bruno Catholic Church in Nadeau and he preceded her in death on Sept. 20, 2008.
She enjoyed painting, crafting, puzzles, her computer, watching and playing golf and the Christmas Tree Lot in Chicago, but mostly time with family.
They wintered in Florida which she loved so they could golf all year and when younger, enjoyed stocking their fruit stand for all to enjoy.
Survivors include a daughter, Bobbi Jo (Greg) Majkrzak of Daggett; five sons, Larry "Jim" (Debbie) of Stephenson, Garry (Cindy), Garland (Jeanne), Gene (Cindy) and Jody "Joe" (Cathy), all of Daggett; 23 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Luella Nutt of Green Bay and a brother, Gerald (Brenda) Berger of Des Plaines, Ill.
She was preceded in death by five sisters, Rose, Maxine, Lillian, Donna and Carolyn and two brothers, Harold and Theodore Jr.
Family received friends at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home in Stephenson on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 2 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 5 p.m., with Deacon Tom Rivard officiating. Entombment was in Gardens of Rest Mausoleum in Escanaba, Mi.
