Phyllis Louise (Westcott) Dionne, 84, passed away Friday, Dec. 15 surrounded by family at the Cedar Community in West Bend.
Born Aug. 4, 1933 in Milwaukee, to Ernest and Mildred (Lokken) Westcott, she married Clair Gene Dionne on Nov. 3, 1951 and they lived in Barton where they raised their family. They then moved to New Fane where they operated a foster home for boys and retired to Wildwood, Fla. in 1990 until returning to Wisconsin.
She is survived by seven children, Clair Dionne, Jr. of Porterfield, Doreen (Bob) Atkielski and Judy (Richard) Haendel, both of Ramer, Tn., Sally (Richard) Wellner of Hatfield, Barry Dionne of Pound, Jeanene (Gregory) Lang of Campbellsport and James (Jennifer) Dionne of West Bend; foster children, Scott Turnmeyer, Dennis Krief, Tom Abitz, Jeff Manski, Joe and Jeff Petterman and many children placed in their home for short times; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; siblings, Barry Westcott, Annette (Dick) Lane, Cheri (James) Heinz, Jill (John) Lane and Wendy (Harold) Wollenberg; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clair on March 4, 2010 and seven siblings, Ernest Jr." Buzzy", Mavis, James, Marilyn " Lolly", Joel, Renee and David.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the former Campbellsport Inn, 139 W. Main St. Campbellsport on Saturday, Jan. 27 from noon to 3 p.m. Twohig Funeral Home of Campbellsport is assisting the family with online guestbook and condolences at www.twohigfunerals.com
