Arnie Forslund, of Mesa, Az., formerly of Marinette, passed away Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017.
He graduated from Marinette High School. A longtime barbershop singer, he also directed the Sweet Adelines and the Children's Choir at Zion Lutheran Church in Marinette.
He retired from Scott Paper and moved to Arizona where he enjoyed golfing, fishing and playing baseball and volleyball. He loved painting houses and did many projects for the joy of seeing the improvement.
He is survived by his wife, Alice; children, Audrey of Sturgeon Bay, Alan "Rusty" of Alaska and Amy (Bryan) Sterling of Delaware; a sister-in-law, Sandy (Roger) Ott and a step-brother, Roger Balthazor, both of Marinette.
Per his request no services will be held and his ashes will be scattered on Green Bay where he spent many hours fishing since childhood.
