Dorothy A. (Sipiorski) Rosik, 88, of Denmark, passed away Monday, Dec. 11, 2017.
Born March 29, 1929, to the late Stanley and Catherine (Hilke) Sipiorski, she attended Pine Grove School and married Ernest Rosik on Aug. 28, 1948. She worked as an elevator attendant at Northland Hotel and Woolworths Dime Store and a homemaker at home.
A member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, she belonged to the Christian Ladies and enjoyed flowers, gardening, sewing and bird watching.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest; four sons, Richard (Sharon) Rosik and Dan (Rose) Rosik, both of Denmark, Arnold (Sandra) Rosik, Crivitz and Carl (Chris) Rosik, Casco; a daughter, Sharon Van De Hei, Green Bay; 14 grandchildren;14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Clem Sipiorski; a sister, Audrey Rentmeester; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Sipiorski; many nieces; nephews; family and friends.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Felix (Wanda) Sipiorski, John (Clara) Sipiorski, Martin (Bernice) Sipiorski and Frank Sipiorski; a sister-in-law, Joyce Sipiorski; four sisters, Margaret (George) Micolichek, Gertrude (Bernard) Thompson, Julia (Lloyd) Apel and Angeline Sipiorski and a brother-in-law, Mike Rentmeester.
Family and friends visited at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Green Bay on Monday, Dec. 18, from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with Fr. Dan Viertel officiating. Burial was in Holy Trinity Pine Grove Cemetery. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory assisted the family with arrangements.
