Sharon Marie (Rebitski) Zima, 75, of Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's.
Born June 2, 1942 in Oconto Falls, to the late Lewis N. and Bertha M. (Mielke) Rebitski, she graduated from Oconto Falls High School in 1960. She worked at Osco Drug and for Dr. Mattern before becoming a full time stay-at-home mom. On Jan. 19, 1963, she married James "Jim" Zima at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
She enjoyed crafts, especially knitting and bringing her work to craft shows, snowmobiling, boating, fishing and wintering in Florida.
She is survived by her husband, James "Jim" Zima, Green Bay; three children and their spouses, Joseph "Jay" Zima and Tricia Milis, Krakow, Timothy and Kristin Zima, Shorewood, Mn. and Debra Marie (Zima) and Layth Hussain, Carmel, Ind.; six grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Marshall and Karen Rebitski and in-laws, Rose and Joe Zima.
Family and friends called at St. Matthew Catholic Church on Tuesday, Jan 9 from 9 a.m. until time of a Memorial Mass at 11 a.m., with Rev. Robert Kabat officiating. A memorial was established in her name. Proko Wall Funeral Home of Green Bay assisted the family with arrangements.
