Marla Devroy, 81, of Flushing, Mi., formerly of St. Charles, Mi., passed away Wednesday evening, Jan. 3, 2018, surrounded by family at McLaren Hospital in Flint.
Born Feb. 17, 1936 in Marinette, she married Roger Devroy on Aug. 4, 1956 and he preceded her in death on July 10, 2015. She worked as a Line Leader at Thompson Boat Co. in St. Charles.
A member of Hope Ev. Lutheran Church, she enjoyed puzzle books, reading, watching TV, Packer Sundays and time with family.
Surviving are three daughters; three sons and thier spouses, David (Tina) Devroy, Sue (Terry) Schlager, Michael (Lisa) Devroy, Ken (Sherrie) Devroy, Donna (Duane) Bilodeau and Lisa (Curt) McGill; 26 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Nancy Jandt; a brother-in-law, Jerry (Marion) Devroy and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her mother, Clara Lange; three brothers and four sisters.
The family received visitors at Kendall Funeral Home in St. Charles, Mi. on Sunday, Jan. 7 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation continued at Hope Ev. Lutheran Church in St. Charles, Mi. on Monday, Jan. 8 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral services at 11 a.m. Pastor Jason Baldwin officiated followed by cremation.
