Peshtigo School Board Meets Monday, Feb. 12
In addition to regular business at its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 12, Peshtigo School Board is expected to approve the 2018-2019 school year calendar and hear an Achievement Gap Reduction Report by Elementary Principal Kelly Collins.
The agenda provides for possible action after closed session discussion on an early retirement proposal, 2018-2019 staff assignments and compensation, a parent request to appeal the district policy relating to transfer of grades from a non-public school, and a review of applications from persons interested in filling the soon to be vacant superintendent's position. Long-time Superintendent Kim Eparvier has announced plans to retire at the end of the current school year.
Other routine agenda items include a superintendent and board president's reports, possible Student Council presentation; action on district resignations, retirements and hirings; approval of minutes and accounts payable, and consideration to accept gifts, grants or bequests with a value of $250 or more.
At 5:30 p.m., just prior to the Board meeting, the Finance Committee will meet to review accounts payable and make recommendations for payment.
