Crivitz Lions Host Wausaukee Lions
Crivitz"The Crivitz Lions had their annual Valentine Dinner at Timberline hosting the Wausaukee Lions Club this year on Wednesday, Feb. 7. They were served beef tips and chicken with the trimmings. Social hour started at 6 pm with dinner a 7 pm. Each person received a chocolate rose and there were raffle drawings of many Valentine gifts.
Lions attending from Crivitz were Frank Greene, Bob Hoyer, Deenie Hoyer, Karen and Jack Kapalczynski, Corinne Kapalczynski, Craig and Cheryl Parks, Kevin and Veronica Pepin, Val Sikowski and daughter, Don Van and Dennis Zimpel. Also Lions from Wausaukee were Jim and Kay Biernasz, Bev Colburn, Gary Johnston, Barb Kolosowski, Diane Ranallo, Rick Edlebeck, and Farrel Maule and Ron Rost.
A Lion Zone meeting was held on Thursday, Feb. 8 at The Red Brick Inn in Niagara at 7 pm. Each club told of their upcoming activities and future plans. Crivitz Lions Club plans on displaying American flags on the light poles along 141 in Crivitz by Memorial Day. The Crivitz Business Association is looking for monetary support for the Vietnam Wall display on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1 and 2. They are also looking for help during the display as guides, security, putting up and taking down, etc. This will be Thursday, Aug. 29-Sept. 3. Anyone, anytime is welcome.
