Michael J. Homa, Jr.
Michael J. (Smiley) Homa, Jr., 56, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Feb. 9, 2018 at home of an apparent heart attack.
He is survived by his mother, Rose Homa; a sister, Cathy (Kevin) Nischke; a brother, Dan (Cindy) Homa; two sons, Jesse of Gwinn, Mi. and Dylan of Menominee, Mi.; a daughter, Amanda of Iron Mountain, Mi.; three grandchildren; aunts, Betty and Connie Gibout of Jonesboro, Ga.; Sister Jeanne de Arc of the Poor Clare Monastery in Belleville, Ill. and Mitzi Betzinger; uncles, Ralph and Bruce Gibout of Menominee and Tony (Linda) Homa and a special friend, Diane (Olson) Spriks.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Homa and two brothers, Fritz Gibout and Leon Gibout.
A Memorial Observance will be held at a later date. Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family.
