Elizabeth J. Kinsella
Elizabeth Jean (Franz) Kinsella, 75, of Niagara, passed away Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018 at Maryhill Manor in Niagara.
Born Jan. 20, 1943 in Norway, Mi., to the late Walter and Jeanette (Roeland-Krenn) Franz, she was a lifelong resident of Niagara and graduated from Niagara High School in 1961. She worked in the office at Kimberly Clark in Norway for 10 years and later in the accounting department for 33 years at Cliffs Forest Products (now Timber Products Company).
A member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, she also belonged to St. Anthony Council of Catholic Women, Niagara Women's Club, Norway Garden Club, Niagara Historical Society, Friends of the Library and volunteered at the Niagara Senior Center.
She enjoyed gardening, flowers and sunshine, but especially time with family and friends.
Survivors include two sons, Paul (Sue) Kinsella, Denmark and Michael (fiancé, Catie Bull) Kinsella, Stoughton; three grandchildren and a brother, Walter Franz, Niagara.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, George Krenn and two brothers, Robert Franz and Raymond Krenn.
Visitation was held at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Niagara on Friday, Feb. 9 from 10:30 a.m. until time of a Memorial Mass at 11:30 a.m. St. Anthony Council of Catholic Women offered prayers at the church. Rev. Fr. Matt Settle officiated with burial in Norway Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Niagara Historical Society in her memory. Jacobs Funeral Home, Niagara Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
