Jean F. Angus, 83, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018 at Care Partners Assisted Living in Oconto.
Born Dec. 19, 1934 in Oconto Falls, to Joseph and Esther (Everard) Lotter, she graduated from Oconto Falls High School. She eloped with Bill Angus on March 28, 1954 and they were married by the Justice of the Peace in Oconto. Three years later they married in Crivitz at St. Mary Catholic Church.
A devoted wife and dedicated mother of five children, she enjoyed sewing and worked hard at taking care of the home inside and out, she did it all. She worked many jobs through the years, but mostly enjoyed helping others in the hospital and nursing home work. She had a good personality, was loved by all, had a great smile, keen wit and good sense of humor.
She is survived by her husband, William "Bill"; four children, Bill Angus, Mike Angus, Lori (Tim) Willett and Jim (Sherry Lynn) Angus; two sisters, Marian (Nubs) Marks and Joanne (Roger) Ruplinger; a brother and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews and cousins.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, James Angus Jr. and recently her eldest son, Richard Angus.
Private Services will be held. Newcomer Funeral Home, Green Bay Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
