Richard (Dick) "Flash' Gordon, 77, of Howard, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018 at home.
Born Feb. 12, 1941 in Marinette, to the late Orval and Grace (DePas) Gordon, he married Pamela Hewson in Pittsfield on May 19, 1978 and worked as an engineer for the Milwaukee Road and Canadian Pacific Railroads retiring on Feb. 12, 2003. He loved working for the railroad and said it was the best job ever.
He enjoyed motorcycling, snowmobiling, golfing, traveling to every state, casinos and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, ticket owner, shareholder and tailgater at Packers home games.
He belonged to the Nifty-Fifty Car Group with his '50 Ford and liked old cars and car shows. He was a Mason since 1971 and enjoyed 4th of July ice cream celebrations and cooking for all family holidays.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela; a son, Larry (Heather) Gordon; two daughters, Lori (Wayne) Hager and Vikie (Mark) Toraason; three grandchildren; two step-grandsons; two great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth (Nancy) Gordon; a brother-in-law, Joe Corson and many aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews and friends.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws, Ambrose and Mabel Hewson and a sister, Elaine Corson.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane on Friday, Feb. 23 from 11 a.m. until time of a funeral service at 12:30 p.m.
