Lucille (Lulu) M. (Wilke) Bell, 99 entered her Eternal home surrounded by her family Feb. 17, 2018.
Born Feb. 16, 1919 to the late Fredrick and Henrietta Wilke in Milwaukee, she attended St. Catherine's Grade School and Girls Tech High School. She then went to beauty school where she became a hairdresser. She also attended Layton School of Art.
She married Thomas G. Bell in 1940 and they owned and operated Tommy Bell's Tap in West Milwaukee. She also worked at JC Penney downtown Milwaukee until retirement moving to Silver Cliff, Wi.
Lulu's talents were many. A toe dancer, artist, baker, tailor and gardener, but her best talent was taking care of her family.
Lulu was a former member of St. Florians Christian Mother's, West Milwaukee, volunteered for numerous charities, a former member of the Silver Cliff Women's Auxiliary and St. Mary's Church Silver Cliff Chapel.
Lulu is survived by her children, Bonnie Cyganiak (Jim), Mary Demotto (Dave), Mickey Kosir (Dan) and Tommy Bell. Her treasured grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-granddaughter; nieces; nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation to be held on Thursday, Feb. 22nd at St. Florian's Church, 1210 S. 45th St., West Milwaukee, WI 10-10:45 a.m. with Mass at 11. Burial at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 W. Capital Dr., Brookfield, WI 1:00 p.m.
The family would like to thank Care Partners Oconto for all the wonderful care and love they provided to Lulu.
Lulu was a light so great to the world. Even though she is gone, her light remains.
