Mary Lee (Rockey) Nushart, 74, of Pembine, passed away Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018 at home with her daughter and loved ones by her side.
Born Dec. 21, 1943 in Manitowoc, to the late Clarence and Frances (Femal) Rockey, he graduated from Kaukauna High School and married Richard Nushart on June 19, 1981. They purchased the Silver Dollar Bar in Pembine and owned it for almost 30 years.
She ran the Pembine Picnic for many years and made it what it is today. An avid Packer fan, she also enjoyed ATVing, golfing and Casino trips with her friends, but mostly adored her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Kelly (Garrett) Geib; a daughter-in-law, Trudy Krueger; two grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Marge (Bob) Collins; a brother-in-law, Jim (Carol) Nushart; three step-children, Debra (Rick) Zierler, Sherry Nushart and Jeff (Diane) Nushart; six step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; three sons, Steve, Craig and Doug Brem; her step-father, Frank Femal and four siblings, Clarence, Don, Carol and Shirley.
Family and friends can call on Friday, March 2 at Grace Lutheran Church in Pembine from 2 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 5 p.m., with Pastor Doug Johnson officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Kaukauna. Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting the family with arrangements.
