Tammy Thompson, 56, of Green Bay, passed away Friday, Feb. 23, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born Nov. 24, 1961 in Oconto, to Yvonne (Gordon) Schmid and the late Ronald Thompson, she attended Oconto grade school and graduated from Southwest High School. She attended Fox Valley Technical College and worked at St. Vincent Hospital for 27 years.
She is survived by her mother Yvonne (Gordon) Schmid; two brothers, Martin (Rose) Thompson and Cameron Thompson; a nephew, Connor Thompson; a step-brother, Jeff (Kelly) Schmid; a step-sister, Brenda (Rick) LaFave and a very special friend, David Villenauve.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Green Bay Chapel, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay on Thursday, March 1 from 4 p.m. until time of a Memorial Service celebrating her life at 6 p.m. Interment will be private. A memorial fund will be established in her honor.
