Ernest John Rosik, 90, of Denmark, passed away Friday, March 2, 2018.
Born Jan. 25, 1928, to the late John and Anna (Mroz) Rosik, he married Dorothy Sipiorski on Aug. 28, 1948. He enjoyed being a dairy farmer all his life and also worked at Northern Paper and Leichts Transfer and Storage.
A member of the Knights of Columbus and Teamsters Local 75, he enjoyed hunting, booyah, gardening and was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
He is survived by four sons, Richard (Sharon) Rosik and Dan (Rose) Rosik, both of Denmark, Arnold (Sandra) Rosik, Crivitz and Carl (Chris) Rosik, Casco; a daughter, Sharon Van De Hei, Green Bay; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and a sister, Leona Pelishek.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Rosik on Dec. 11, 2017; three brothers, Edward (Frances) Rosik, Stanley (Ann) Rosik and Leo (Lucille) Rosik; five sisters, Josephine (Joseph) Matuszewski, Rose (Theodore) Matuszewski, Anna (Edward) Gruscynski, Verna (Ben) Pavlik and Esther (Hank) Wolback and a brother-in-law, Robert Pelishek.
Family and friends may visit at Prince of Peace Catholic Community, 3845 Willow Road in Green Bay, on Thursday, March 15 from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Rev. Dan Viertel will officiate with burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery- Pine Grove. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
