Oren D. Ninnemann, 81, of Peshtigo, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018.
Born September 14, 1936, son of the late Oren A. and Irene Ninnemann he was proud to serve his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War in the Armored Division. He married the former Gerda Reimann April 21, 1955 in Germany and she preceded him in death June 29, 2001.
Oren was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and was Town of Peshtigo Constable for over 30 years. He enjoyed his morning coffee at Hardee's with his friends and lunch at the Peshtigo Corral.
Oren is survived by, 2 sons, Pete Ninnemann and Max (Angel) Ninnemann; a daughter, Karen (Les) Gump; his grandchildren, Heidi, Kaylee, Joshua, Jessica, Liela, Evie and Anthony; great-grandchildren, Kale, Frankie, Gabby, Blaze and Xavier. Also survived by a brother, Arold (Shirley) Ninneman; a sister, Peggy Knutson and his extended family, Marty "Mark" and Kathy Kamin and Dani (Bobbi) Deutsch.
Along with his parents and wife, Gerda, Oren was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Justice.
Family received relatives and friends on Saturday, March 10 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Peshtigo from Noon until time of Memorial services at 2:00 pm with Pastor Luke Myslik officiating. Military rites followed. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo. Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Oren's family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses, (especially Rachel) and entire staff in the I.C.U. at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay for their wonderful care.
